Salt spray test chamber

Description: 

This equipment is widely used in aerospace, automobiles, motorcycles, armaments, electronics, chemical metallurgy, quality inspection and measurement, post and telecommunications, shipping, railway enterprises and institutions, colleges, universities and scientific research units.

The equipment uses salt solution or acid salt solution to accelerate corrosion of materials or products at a certain temperature and relative humidity, and to test the damage degree of materials or products in a certain time range. The equipment is used to test the anti-salt fog corrosion ability of materials and protective coatings, and to compare the process quality of similar protective coatings. It is an artificial simulation test of salt fog environment, and can also be used to test the anti-salt fog corrosion ability of some products. The test results show that manpower, financial and material resources are saved.

      Salt spray test has been taken as a national standard in China, and detailed regulations have been made. It has been developed from the initial simple neutral salt spray test to acetate spray test, copper salt accelerated acetate spray test and alternating salt spray test.


Reference Standard: 

      This salt spray corrosion test equipment is made in strict accordance with the national military salt spray test standard GJB 150.11 and the national standard GB 2423.17 for salt spray test of electrical and electronic products promulgated by China; the salt spray test standards GB 6458, GB 6459 and GB6460 for metal coating; the salt spray test standards GB 5938, GB 5939 and GB 5940 for examining electroplating of light industrial products; they are mainly suitable for salt spray test of paint layer. Standard GB 1771 and other standards on salt spray corrosion currently in use internationally.
